At Home Office-Playroom
By Angela Nolan / May 22, 2014 / Home Decor

Working from home with all its inherent distractions such as the laundry, the dishes and any other household chores can be difficult. Add young children to the mix and it can get pretty impossible.
Get creative and set up space for your children's play area and your office in the same room or within sight of the play area. Your child is less likely to react negatively to you working if you are nearby. Having well planned storage and organization can make it work more efficiently. For important files, a locked drawer is a must. Would be difficult to explain to a client and or your boss that your toddler used a very important contract document as art work paper. Obviously with young children especially crawling babies and toddlers you must be careful to keep electric cords from your computer etc. out of harm's way. Also, with any home with young children, tall and heavy shelves etc., should be anchored securely to the wall as to reduce opportunities for accidents.
