This article from September 2013 states that Hamilton's property value increases are out-pacing those of Ontario as a province. Our city is really evolving. Our Arts' district and all the changes to the Jamesville area and its property values is astounding. The Corktown area is also another area that has really come along in popularity, especially from the Toronto buyers that want to be close to the GO Station so that they can get back "home" more readily. This increase in demand has shot the property values to heights that certainly was not expected by many in such a humble, working class neighbourhood.
